There is not much to say, religiously, concerning David. His light-hearted manner and friendly attitude make him one of the most likable of all Disney males. He never gives up on Nani, but isn't pushy either. He tries to take the burden off of her shoulders as much as he can, either by inviting her to relax, or by helping her find a job. David seems to be a very realistic ideal man. Unlike the impossibly righteous or noble characters in many of Disney's fairy tale movies, David is simple, honest, and caring. He is an ideal man for a real world, supporting those around him with grace and ease.
